Open Training

HDR students, researchers and professional staff from any university or organisation can now access Intersect training.

Intersect offers hands-on, research-oriented training courses on digital tools and technologies to thousands of researchers every year (more than 5,000 researchers and research students trained in over 300 courses in 2020). A measure of participant satisfaction is captured using Net-Promoter Score (NPS), in which attendees are asked how likely they are to recommend Intersect training to others. NPS in 2020 was +70 which is considered excellent. Furthermore, the average scores of the primary metrics for measuring the quality of the training delivery in 2020 exceed 9.3 out of 10, which indicates that feedback from participants is excellent.

Training for Individuals

A new fee-for-service training offering is available now. Training for Individuals workshops that is fully organised and run by Intersect has commenced in Q1 2021. PhD students, research support and professional staff, as well as academics from non Intersect member universities and organisations are now able to purchase individual tickets in the courses offered by Intersect. It is important to mention that these courses are not related to the membership courses and are scheduled separately.
