HPC and Data in Materials Design and Discovery

An innovative educational outreach to Australia’s science and research communities

We are excited to open the registration for the inaugural collaborative graduate-level course HPC and Data in Materials Design and Discovery, to be delivered by an array of internationally renowned professors and scientists. Intersect Australia’s Collaborative Education Program functions as the facilitator for this interactive online venture. Tier 1 national facility NCI Australia provides key logistical support, tutorial resourcing, and HPC expertise. 

The total duration of this semester-long course is 12 weeks. It will start on 1st of September and finish on 26 Nov 2021. It is offered free for Ph.D. students and ECRs who are currently enrolled in or working at an Australian university or public research organisation. Two lectures per week on Wednesdays and Fridays will run live and interactively with Zoom webinar while being recorded for subsequent streaming.
